The bit nobody tells you

What a house full of doors actually costs.

Most people looking for internal doors have no idea whether they're about to spend £800 or £5,000 — so they close the tab. Here's the honest answer for a typical Leeds semi with six doors, fully fitted with handles included. Most jobs come in a little under these figures.

Three ranges

Whatever the budget, there's a door that suits the house.

Every range is fitted by the same team, to the same standard. The only difference is the door itself.

How it works

Four steps, and you don't pick up a tape measure once.

Getting the measurements wrong is the single most expensive mistake in this trade. So we don't let you make it.

You tell us the rooms

A quick call — how many doors, roughly what style, when you'd like it done. No measurements needed from you at this stage.

We come and measure

We measure every opening ourselves, check the frames are square and flag anything that needs work. Free on five doors or more — otherwise £95, credited in full against your order.

Fixed price, then we order

You get one written price covering doors, hardware, fitting and disposal. Nothing gets ordered — and nothing gets paid — until you're happy with it.

We re-measure, then fit

On fitting day every opening is checked again before a door is trimmed. We hang them, fit the handles, and hoover up behind us.

No surprises

Every cost, on one page.

This is the whole list. If it isn't here, we won't be charging you for it.

Straight answers

The questions we get asked most.

Do I have to measure the doors myself?

No — and we'd rather you didn't. Internal openings are rarely square, especially in older Leeds terraces and semis, and a door ordered to the wrong size can't be sent back. We measure every opening ourselves, then check them again on fitting day before anything is trimmed.

Why is there a charge for measuring?

Because it's a proper visit — someone's time, van and diary. On orders of five doors or more we don't charge for it at all. On smaller jobs it's £95, and that £95 comes straight off your order when you go ahead. So if you proceed, the survey has cost you nothing.

What's actually included in the £100 fitting?

Hanging the door, trimming it to the opening, and fitting the hinges, latch and handles. Per door, including VAT. If a frame or lining needs replacing, we'll let you know during the survey and price it separately—so there are no unexpected costs halfway through the job.

How long does a full house take?

You can expect our team to fit 4 doors per fitter per day when on site. Doors are usually with us within a week or two of ordering depending on the range and finish, and we'll give you a date at the point you accept the quote.

Can I buy the doors without fitting?

Yes. Plenty of customers fit their own or have a joiner lined up. You'll find our full range and prices in the online shop, with delivery across the Leeds area.

Do you handle fire doors and building regulations?

Yes. Fire-rated doors are required in specific situations — loft conversions and flats being the common ones. If your job needs them we'll say so at the survey and quote for the correct certified doors and hardware rather than leaving you to work it out.
